Creating a fabulous transitional residence from an old church.

In memory of one of my very favorite projects.  This fabulous residence with the design that followed much of the influence of the old church was lost to a fire last year.  We worked with this client to remodel the old church format and create a wonderful residence for  a family which included three young girls.  The client wanted to interior architecture to be reflective of a contemporary loft space but maintaining and incorporating the elements of the old church such as windows and ceilings.  The interior design selections brought a bit of the edgy feel using a strong red color in the kitchen cabinetry, contemporary glass tile back splash, and open floor plan.

Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen – Open floor plan reflective of the old church layout that it follows.

Having once been an old church the ceilings and windows had great design and allowed for a lot of light!
